Frank is an Emergency Medicine Consultant at Nottingham University Hospitals’ Trust, Honorary Professor at Nottingham Trent University, and is Director of DREEAM.  He has been a pitch-side doctor at Nottingham Forest Football Club for over 20 years, first team from 2006-2021 and is currently ‘Tunnel Doctor’ at the City Ground.   Frank also has extensive experience as a crowd and team doctor for other sports including cricket and motor racing. He has sutured both players and spectators at Trent Bridge on many occasion.  Frank has a keen interest in simulation-based education and is enthused by the opportunity to apply this to sporting injuries in AWSAM.  He is father to 5 boys who share his passion for sport and often join him on trips to support the Irish football and rugby teams around the world.
