Claire started her nursing career as a healthcare assistant in an Emergency Department & Admissions unit in Essex before moving to Nottingham in 2010 to study nursing and qualified in 2013.

Upon graduating, Claire initially worked on a long stay admissions ward before coming to the Emergency Department (ED). She has now over 10 years ED experience, 5 years as a staff nurse and 5 years as a deputy sister.

In January 2021, Claire started working in DREEAM as an Interprofessional Educator and took over medication management. She has recently been involved in training the ED nurses to ensure they are ready for digital prescriptions.

Outside of work, Claire enjoy spending time with her family and walking her dog. She also enjoys listening to many different types of music and prior to the pandemic was working towards completing her grade 8 singing exam, which she hopes to be able achieve in the future.
