Daniel Jones
Green Ambassador
Daniel is responsible for the learning platform that provides digital education, across an Education Partnership. His role is very varied and includes the management of the learning platform itself (system stability and administration) to course curation and content creation. He is also part of the Digital Team within DREEAM (alongside Rebecca Purcell) and assists with a range of technical projects and covers marketing requests.
Daniel completed courses in Media (multimedia) and Media (moving image) in college before graduating the University of Derby in 2012 with a BA (Hons) in Film and High-end Television Production. He joined the NHS family in an administrative capacity initially in 2013 to support his wife becoming a nurse. In 2018 Daniel began working in the education sector of the NHS as an Administrative Specialist and Data Analyst and not too long later was given an opportunity to do a business analysis apprenticeship. In 2021 Daniel was given the opportunity by the Institute of Care Excellence to build a career in the digital learning sector as a Digital Learning Assistant. It’s a career that Daniel is proud to be involved in. He has since gone on to complete a Digital Learning Design Diploma, the NHS QSIR course and in November 2022 began his current post.
It’s rather fitting that Daniel enjoys learning in his own time! He’s a sucker for an Udemy course and has purchased way too many. He’s currently enrolled on a Web Development boot camp and Digital Marketing boot camp.
Aside from learning: Daniel loves Mixed Martial Arts, fitness and video games; he enjoys gardening (occasionally); likes doing DIY; and is currently interested in investing.
