Michael joined NUH as a Healthcare Assistant in Acute Medicine in March 2020, having previously worked in various hospitality and social care roles. He is particularly passionate about the importance of delivering high quality education to the non-registered workforce, especially for those who arrive at NUH completely new to healthcare. He is involved in teaching and supporting new starters in both Acute Medicine and the Emergency Department, as well as helping to organise induction programmes and developing new educational material.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys cooking and reading widely. He often brings in dishes and cakes he’s made for the DREEAM team to try!
