Shireen works clinically as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in the Emergency Department (ED) and as a Teaching fellow within DREEAM. Her main role in DREEAM is around working with medical students to provide clinical bedside teaching.

Her background in Emergency Nursing saw her work and train as a Senior Sister and Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) at the Royal Free Hospital in London, she then went on to gain a Masters in Advanced clinical practice in 2017 through London South Bank University. Shireen joined the ED team at Nottingham University Hospitals at the end of 2018 as an ACP and has worked as part of the team since.

Shireen enjoys travelling and the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
