Colin Gilhooley

Colin completed undergraduate training in Leicester, moved north for his paediatric training and is now a consultant and Head of Service in the Childrens & Young Peoples Emergency Department at NUH.  When he’s not saving children’s lives, he’s saving his staff’s lives with perfectly timed coffee deliveries. During his career he’s contributed to educational podcasts, published research and is driving data delivered quality improvement projects.

Although he’s not very active on social media, he is active on his days off; he enjoys cycling and running round after his children.

He’s excited to be part of the NEPTUNE team and impart his wisdom.
