Dr Dave Smith

Dave is Emergency Medicine Consultant at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham. He works across both adult + paediatric sides of the department, having completed EM + PEM Subspeciality training in the East Midlands with a year also spent working in New Zealand. 

He's the PED lead for Paediatric Major Trauma, has written local / regional trauma guidelines and ran regular teaching / sim sessions on the subject. He was involved in running a workshop at the previous NEPTUNE and is now part of the organisational committee for this year's conference. 

When not at work, most likely to be found up a mountain.
