PEM Consultant and Clinical Lead for Major Trauma, Sheffield Children’s Hospital
Rachel is a Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant who has trained and worked as a Consultant in both Sheffield and Nottingham. She moved back to Sheffield in 2022, where she is also the Clinical Lead for the Major Trauma Centre. Having worked in both a Mixed Major Trauma Centre and now a stand alone Paediatric Major Trauma Centre, she has an insight into the challenges that can be faced across the sector for paediatric major trauma patients, and the trusts providing their care.
