Mr Shakil Patel

Dr. Mohammed Shakil Patel is a Consultant Spine Surgeon at the Centre of Spinal Studies and Surgery at Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he serves as the Paediatric Spinal Lead, specializing in spinal deformities in children. He is also the Nottingham representative for the East Midlands Spinal Network. 

Dr. Patel graduated from Leicester Medical School in 2004 and completed his Orthopaedic Higher Surgical Training in 2018. He further enhanced his skills through a fellowship in complex spinal surgery in Bristol in 2019. 

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Patel has authored over 30 publications and contributed to several national and international meetings. He is dedicated to providing high-quality care for his patients, with a particular focus on improving outcomes for children with complex spinal conditions.
