Difficult Vascular Access in Children (DVAC) is an interactive, CPD-approved course aiming to encourage vein-preserving and time-saving techniques to improve outcomes and satisfaction for patients, carers and clinicians.

The course teaches intraosseous, midline insertion and Portacath access as well as learning ultrasound-guided needling techniques. We have tips & tricks about vein-finding adjuncts, troubleshooting central line problems and difficult cannulation. Feedback from previous courses has said it has positively changed people's practice and improved confidence gaining vascular access.

Limited places are available for the course taking place on 1st August.
