NUH Values and Behaviours
High Standards of professionalism are expected of all staff working in the Emergency Department. Personal bags, drinks and food must not be brought into any of the clinical areas, and chewing gum is not allowed. Private telephone calls and the use of computers for private purposes are not allowed. Please familiarise yourself with the NUH values and behaviours which can be found here
Social Networking
Social networking is widely used within the medical field to disseminate information, update a wider audience and ultimately engage people in learning. Please download the NUH social media policy below which outlines that the internet should not be used to violate the privacy of others, or be used in a way that would risk bringing the organisation into disrepute, or place the Trust in a position of liability. This includes discussing colleagues, Nottingham University Hospitals or its patients. It is not appropriate that photos in uniform or within NUH grounds are posted on social media sites.
