BLING III is a randomised trial looking at the way we give a certain group of antibiotics (Beta-Lactams) to treat patients whilst they are on intensive care. We currently give antibiotics at set times throughout the day as a 30 minute infusion. We would like to know if giving someone a continuous drip of antibiotics will help patients get better more quickly.
