This was our first collaboration with the Ambulance Service, which looked at Airway Management in patients who had suffered an out of hospital cardiac arrest. The trial was comparing two methods, as we are unsure which one is of more benefit to the patient. This northern part of the East Midlands Ambulance Service was coordinated here at QMC, and we worked with lots of different research teams to ensure patients were followed up.
